The Women’s Impact Network of New Hanover County (WIN) elected three new board members to serve two-year terms with the organization.
According to a news release, the new board members are Beth Gaglione
(pictured below at right), philanthropy manager for the New Hanover Regional Medical Center Foundation

; Paula Levy
(pictured at left), chief

strategy officer and founder, Demand Worldwide; and Eva Mitchell
(pictured below).
They join chair Linda Harootyan, vice chair Carol Earey, treasurer Carol Atwood, Kay Dougherty, Leigh Johnson, Lorrie Ridder and Karen Rogalski on the WIN Board.
According to the release, WIN is a women-powered, volunteer-run collective giving circle composed of more than 140 women who pool their contributions annually to provide grants to nonprofit organizations whose missions, projects and services positively impact New Hanover County communities.

"WIN has grown significantly in the past year in membership and in the size of its grant pool," the release stated. "Since its founding in 2011, WIN has awarded $663,000 in grants to 39 nonprofits.
"Last year, it awarded $71,000 in grants to seven nonprofits with arts and culture projects that benefit New Hanover County."
